Managing Medicines in CloudMedico

CloudMedico provides comprehensive medicine management functionality to help you maintain a detailed database of medications used in your practice. This system allows you to record detailed medicine information, track pricing, and maintain accurate prescription records.

Medicines Overview

The Medicines section is located under the Clinical dropdown menu. It provides tools to view, add, and manage your practice's medicine database with detailed information including dosage, pricing, and instructions.

Medicines List View

The Medicines List page displays all medicines in your database. From here, you can quickly see an overview of available medicines, search for specific medications, and access options to add new medicines or manage existing ones.

Adding New Medicines

To add a new medicine, click on the 'Add' button. You will be presented with a comprehensive form to enter the medicine details:

Key fields include:

- Name: The name of the medicine (required field).

- Price: The cost of the medicine.

- Company: The pharmaceutical company that manufactures the medicine.

- Reseller: The distributor or reseller of the medicine.

- Dosage: The recommended dosage information.

- Duration: The recommended duration of treatment.

- Packaging: Information about the medicine's packaging.

- Instructions: Detailed instructions for taking the medicine using a rich text editor.

- Description: Additional description or notes about the medicine using a rich text editor.

Rich Text Editors

Both Instructions and Description fields use rich text editors with:

- Formatting: Bold, italic, headings, lists

- Links: Add hyperlinks to external resources

- Lists: Bulleted and numbered lists

- Quotes: Block quotes for important information

Multilingual Support

All medicine fields support multiple languages, allowing you to maintain medicine information in different languages for international patients or multilingual practices.

Import and Export Functionality

CloudMedico provides powerful import and export capabilities for your medicine database:

- Import: Upload existing medicine data from Excel files

- Export: Download your medicine database for backup or analysis
