Patient references, not name search
AI workflows use a CloudMedico patient reference. Patient-name lookup is not available through the connection.
Privacy by design
CloudMedico uses pseudonymous patient references instead of patient-name lookup. They reduce identity exposure, but the related clinical data remains personal health data.
AI workflows use a CloudMedico patient reference. Patient-name lookup is not available through the connection.
The AI-facing view uses CloudMedico references and does not expose raw internal database or application identifiers.
The AI-facing patient view uses a reference, age in years, and recorded gender instead of the patient's name, exact date of birth, or contact details.
Access is limited by clinic enablement, enabled tools, connection scopes, user permissions, record visibility, and live connection status.
Clinics can disable the connection and users can revoke it. Changes to permissions take effect on the next request.
CloudMedico audits connection and access events without storing full prompts or clinical content in the MCP audit trail.
Supported connections
Connect CloudMedico to supported AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT to review practice information and carry out permitted tasks securely.
Connect Claude to CloudMedico to review patient records, prepare briefings, manage appointments, and perform supported clinical workflows.
Use CloudMedico from supported ChatGPT and Codex experiences through the same secure AI connection.
Important: Classic ChatGPT web is not supported. Support applies to the 2026 ChatGPT desktop app and its configured MCP connection, not every ChatGPT product or plan.

Clear boundaries
You remain in control. Review AI-generated information and proposed changes before relying on them clinically. CloudMedico controls what the assistant can access; the clinic remains responsible for deciding whether external AI-provider processing is appropriate under that provider's terms and settings.
CloudMedico-hosted AI
AI Scribe and AI Patient Summary use Zero Data Retention endpoints. The AI provider does not retain their clinical content after processing or use it to train AI models.
Connected assistants use the privacy settings and terms of the provider or account you connect. They are separate from CloudMedico-hosted AI, so CloudMedico cannot extend this guarantee to them.
Open your clinic to review supported connections, choose what your assistant can access, and get connected.
